THE NICKLAUS

COURSE

Grassy hillsides, dense forests of palm and giant ficus trees, natural creeks and arroyos provide the perfect setting for this world-class course by one of the world's greatest players.

Opened April 2001, the first course at Vista Vallarta is a Signature Design by Jack Nicklaus. Since this course is located on the property’s highest elevation, golfers are not only treated to world-class golf but will enjoy breathtaking views of Puerto Vallarta, the Marina, and Banderas Bay as well. Grassy hillsides, dense forest of Palm and giant Ficas trees, natural creeks, and arroyos provide the perfect setting for this world-class course by the world’s greatest player.

The Nicklaus Course at Vista Vallarta has hosted 3 televised golf events: The NCAA Intercollegiate Ford Championship in 2001, The EMC Word Golf Championship in 2002, and the Blue Agave Champions Tour Event in 2006.

Vista Vallarta is aptly named. Not only do I think people will enjoy the golf course, but it is a beautiful setting with magnificent vistas. You have the best of both worlds – views of the mountain and the ocean in the distance.
