Member of the Ball State golf team from 1977-79, and was the Cardinals’ Co-Most Valuable Player as a senior.

Tied for fourth at the 1977 MAC Championships and co-captained the Cardinals in 1979.

Three-time Indiana Professional Golfers Association Player of the Year.

Played in four U.S. Open Championships and in the 1990 PGA Championships after turning professional.
