Championship Golf was founded in 1986 with the objective of operating high-quality golf events and outings for select clients.

Along with the Double Eagle Invitational Pro-Am, Championship Golf also operates private programs for companies and groups to destinations throughout the world. These range from customer incentive programs, to special affinity groups. Our experience and agility allow us to provide unparalleled service and exceed all expectations.

Pat Mateer, founder and President of Championship Golf, competed both professionally (until 1985), and on the amateur level throughout the world. He has numerous victories to his credit, and joined a small and elite group when he shot a 59 at the Palmilla Golf Club in the 2nd round of the 1999 TaylorMade Invitational.
